Michael J Kelly

KELLY, Michael J., 73, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa after a 13 year battle with ALS. He was born May 31, 1948 in Queens, New York and came to the area 17 years ago from New Jersey. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a dock man for APA Trucking in New Jersey. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara E. Kelly, and brother, James Kelly. He is survived by son: Michael Jeff Kelly of St. Augustine, Florida; daughters and son-in-law: Erin and David Shutt of Spring Hill, Florida; Kimberly and Charles Seber of South Amboy, New Jersey; sisters: Laura Erwig of New York; Monica Darcy of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren: Kallie and Evan Shutt, Daniel (Kenya) Kelly,  Kyle Seery, and three great-grandchildren: Mya Rosario, Aidan and Emma Kelly.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00pm on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am, Friday, September 24, 2021.
