She was born February 28, 1926 in Owosso, Michigan and began coming to Brooksville 34 years ago as a winter resident. She worked as a chief inspector for American Electrical Heater Company in Detroit, Michigan, enjoyed crafts and was Protestant by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Frank "Al" Barry; stepson and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Alan & Dee Barry and stepdaughter and son-in-law, Diane & Steve Gunther, all of Allen Park, Michigan; grandchildren, Jason Alan Barry, Jennifer Ann Barry, Steven Gunther Jr., Jonathan Alex Gunter, Brandy Gunter, Shannon Gunther; and three great-grandchildren.
