He was born in Irvington, New Jersey and came to the area in 2010 from Piscataway, New Jersey. He was a United States Navy Vietnam War veteran and was an operating engineer in the HVAC industry. He was a member of the Piscataway Elks Lodge 2414, VFW, American Legion, and the NRA.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Marcia "Marcie" Martineau; sons and daughters-in-law: John & Brenda Martineau and Robert & Kathleen Martineau, all of Piscataway, New Jersey; twin brother and sister-in-law: Philip & Diana Martineau and sister-in-law: Carri Lynn Martineau, all of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Andrew, Alex, Jayson, and Meagan Martineau. Paul is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Martineau.
