COUTU, Richard R., age 62 of Spring Hill passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in Woonsocket, RI he came to this area in 1989 from Bellingham, MA. He was the former business manager and treasurer with Harborwood of Clearwater, FL Health & Rehab, member of the Ball Room Dance Club of Spring Hill and of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his companion: David Mussato of Spring Hill; daughters: Pam Vassilakos of Virginia & Melissa Baumgartner of Washington; brothers: Robert & Roger of Florida and Ronald Savage of Ohio; sisters: Gloria Baril & Lucille Stearns, both of Massachusetts and 6 grandchildren: Cassidy, Braden, Nico, Craig, Kerri & Megan. Visitation for friends will be 5-7pm Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will take place at 7:00pm.
