He was born September 9, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois and came to Brooksville 64 years ago. He was the owner and operator of a local small engine repair shop and a volunteer firefighter.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his son, Marcus Zopf (Martha Ann Weems) of Brooksville; his daughter, Kimberly Clay of Brooksville; sister, Mary Meadows; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.
