He was born December 20, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a snowbird along with his wife for 15 years before relocating permanently to Weeki Wachee three years ago from Morris, Pennsylvania. He was a School Administrator working for the Education System.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years: Evelyn; sons: Michael Burns of Hawaii, James Burns of Annapolis, Maryland and John Burns of Daytona Beach, Florida; daughters and sons-in-law: Tracey & Bob Shaffer, Lori & Bruce Lindquest, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Terri & Ray Alu of Pipersville, Pennsylvania; 20 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
