I will miss the phone conversations with Ron who in the early 50''s was the little kid who made everyone laugh on the school bus.  I was his Bible School teacher and a friend of his family who lived on the same road in Masaryktown.  I appreciated that in our "golden years" he established contact with me and every few months called. It was characteristic of him to open with "How the hell are you!" Our chats were long and made me aware that beyond the sometimes crusty personna was a very intelligent, interesting and soft person.  Because I was aware that Ron was growingly ill, I called a few weeks ago and ended the conversation with "well I hope 2011 will be kinder to all of us."  His answer was that it was too late for him.   I know he is now at peace and full of love for those he left behind.  God bless him and his family.  Elaine Tokos Hogue

Ronnie was a very good friend of my father in the 50's as they grew up in Brooksville Fla. I have very fond memories of Ronnie as a kid hanging out with him and my dad getting scallops out in the gulf and just hanging out listening to there stories. I am so glad that him and my dad got to reconnect in the last couple of years and go over old times. I got the chance to talk with Ronnie several months ago and really enjoyed it. Our deepest sympathy to the family of Ron.  We went to school together and althought I didn't know him real well, we were classmates and that is enough to bind people together for life.I know he is in a better place with no pain and now he will be able to watch over his family and help them along their own paths in life.Please take comfort in knowing that with God, he is smiling and in no pain.God Bless the family.

I remember Ron from the 50s, especially at our Community Hall events in Masaryktown. He had a good singing voice and would perform admirably.  I got to know his mother and his brother Richard.  Richard and I were roommates in a Tampa apartment one summer, and he talked about Ron a lot.  S Bohom bud z Ban Bohom.

Ronnie,We will all miss you as we remember Masaryktown, our high school days, the Saturday night trips to Brooksville to go to the Teenage Hall, to  pick up our dates or just play a friendly game of pool.  I remember having a full car nearly every Saturday night, and we always had a fun time kidding around and generally having clean teenage fun just being together.  More recently, I enjoyed our lively conversations about the social order of our country and governmental politics. You are in a better place now without pain and with our mutual friends Tommy and Dennis, who went before.  As you look down on your family here below,   may they look back with love and compassion as you rest in peace.  Ivan Placko
