Rose Iris Schenkel

Her journey took her to Frankfort Pilgrim High School, graduating in 1952 and immediately registering in Frankfort Pilgrim College. She became a skilled pianist and organists.

On June 25, 1954 she married R. Randall Schenkel. Their anniversary and her birthday fell on the same day and Randall could be heard to say "Only have to buy one gift" to which she would respond, "Yeah but it has to be a BIG one."

Two children blesses their home, Randall Eugene Schenkel of Allentown, PA and Lori Alys (Schenkel) Pugliese of Red Hill, PA. This family unit soon included three grandchildren, Jennifer Rose Pugliese of Red Hill, PA, Emilia Iris (Schenkel) DeMeuse of Wake Forest, NC, and Kyle Lucas Schenkel of Allentown, PA and one great-granddaughter, Layla James DeMeuse of Wake Forest, NC.

Rose was a loving mother and a faithful pastor's spouse serving with her skills assisting her husband in three pastorates and Bible College Administrator. The couple have lived in Wesleyan Village since 2003-04.

She is preceded by the death of her parents and a step-brother, Haven Eugene Burk.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30am-11:00am, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Brooksville Community Church Chapel (22319 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville FL 34601), where the Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00am.
