Rosemarie was originally from Frankfurt, Germany and has been a resident of Brooksville for over 52 years. She is a retired cosmetologist and owner of Your Hair Fashion Shop for over 40 plus years. Rosemarie had a big heart and strong presence in the community and was always willing to help with anyone in need. She served and was active at the local Salvation Army. She participated many years in the “Angel Tree” to help children have a happy Christmas.
Rosemarie is preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Schaeffer and her husband of 43 years, James C. Holloway. Survivors include her daughters, Patrizia Weeks (Alfred) and Terizia Kochie (Matthew); five grandchildren: Jesse, Kyle and Maranatha of Brooksville and Tallon and Derek of Orlando; six great-grandchildren: Justice, Jaxon, Aurora, Rylee, Uriah of Brooksville and Olivia of Orlando; and many of nieces and nephews.
For anyone and everyone that has had the pleasure to meet or know Rosemarie, they should not be sad at her passing because she has now been reunited with her husband and mother and many others. This is a joyous occasion for her and the family, pain is gone and healing has begun. Gone but never to be forgotten…
The family, at the request of Rosemarie, has decided not to have a memorial service. An Inurnment at Florida National Cemetery will follow at a later date. Family suggests that any memorial donations be made to your local Salvation Army.
