Sydney Elise Fillmore

FILLMORE, Sydney Elise, age 7 of Spring Hill, died Sun., May 15, 2005. Sydney attended Chocachatti Elementary School in Spring Hill, where she completed her 1st grade year with honors. She loved all her teachers and fellow students there very much. She was a quiet and shy girl who had a bubbling personality with her friends. She enjoyed dancing, music & studied Tap and Ballet at the Brooksville Dance Academy and was scheduled to perform in her third recital on June 4th. She had hoped to begin Jazz lessons later this year. She was also just starting to learn how to play the piano. Sydney was very creative and also enjoyed writing, drawing, painting, and digital photography. A collection of her efforts will be on display at her memorial services to celebrate her wonderful imagination. Sydney also enjoyed swimming and reading. Her favorite books to read included the Junnie B. Jones series by Barbara Park and the Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine.Survivors include her parents: Jeffrey S. and Kelly A. Fillmore of Spring Hill; two sisters: Camryn R. and Lauren M. Fillmore both of Spring Hill; Paternal Grandparents: Keith S. and Sandra S. Fillmore of Brooksville; Maternal Grandparents: Larry W. Middleton of Gainesville, FL and Sharon O. Lemmons of Wesley Chapel, FL.Visitation for friends will be 2-4 and 6-8pm, Thurs., May 19, 2005 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00am, Fri., May 20, 2005 at Spring Lake United MethodistChurch with Reverend David Stauffer officiating.
