McCOY, Thomas A., age 72 of Spring Hill passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Gulfside Regional Hospice at Bayonet Point. Born in New York City, NY he came to this area in 1988 from Patchogue, NY. He was a fireman for the New York City Fire Department, retired from the U.S. Coast Guard, was a member of the Spring Hill Moose and was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife: Carmela; 7 loving children, 1 brother, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be conducted 11am Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Spring Hill. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at 2:30pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
