Thomas B. McManus

McMANUS, Thomas B., age 80 of Weeki Wachee, Florida died Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Hudson, Florida.  Born in Bronx, New York he came here 15 years ago from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.  He was a retired truck driver, U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran, member of the V.F.W. and American Legion both of Hudson and was of the Catholic faith.  Survivors include his sons & daughter-in-law:  Patrick & Nancy McManus of Shepherdstown, West Virginia and Thomas McManus of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; daughters & sons-in-law:  Eileen & Paul Lynch of Hudson, Florida and Kathy & Ed Smith of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; sisters:  Marguerite O’Shea and Helen McGurl both of Spring Hill, Florida; 12 grandchildren  and 6 great grandchildren.  Visitation for friends will be 10:30am – 12:30pm, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.  Military honors will follow at 1:30pm, at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice.
