Travis S. Wellman

Born in Kistler, West Virginia he came to the area 6 years ago from Beckley, West Virginia.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran, an executive in the mining industry, and Catholic by faith.

He is survived by his loving wife Leah; son and daughter-in-law: Travis Scott and Sonia Wellman of Spring Hill;  daughters and sons-in-law: Rena and Philippe Courtay of Plantation, FL, Lori and Paul Mollmann of Tampa, FL; and 3 grandchildren: Christopher and Gregory Wellman, and Tristan Courtay.

Visitation for family and friends will be 1-2pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where funeral services will be conducted at 2pm. Inurnment with Military honors will be conducted at 1:00pm on January 17, 2018 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fisher House c/o James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.
