She was born January 1, 1941 in Newburg, West Virginia and came to Brooksville 31 years ago from Orange Park, Florida. She was an licensed practical nurse and worked for Citrus Memorial Hospital for over 20 years and was a member of Brooksville Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arnold C. Summers; her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Summers of Orlando, Florida, Gregory & Belinda Summers of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Christopher & Jessica Summers of Tampa, Florida; her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly & Noah Schmiedecke of Riverview, Florida; seven siblings; and six grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Brooksville Church of Christ, with Pastor Kent Heaton officiating.
