Wayne Carl Augustine

He was born September 1, 1939 in Conneaut, Ohio son of Dr. PH and Astrid Augustine of East Springfield, PA. He attended East Springfield Elementary and graduated from Springfield Township High school in 1957. He graduated in 1963 from Taylor University , Upland, Indiana, with a Bachelor in science in Education degree and a Master of Education (guidance and counseling) degree from Edinboro State College, Edinboro, PA.

He was a basketball coach at Berkshire Christian College, Linox, Mass and also coached high school basketball at Waterford High School in Waterford, PA.

He was most loved as pastor of The Federated Church in East Springfield, PA for 28 years. On the years following he pastored at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jamestown, New York, neighborhood starship center, West Palm Beach, FL and Turning point church of Nazarene, Brooksville, FL.

Left to mourn his loss are his wife of 62 1/2 years Mary (Schneider), his two sons, Jim (Lana), their three girls , Leah, Lindsay, and Lara. Jim (Cindy)with their six children , Anna, Andrew (Clara), Abigail, Alexander, Allison, and Azariah. Plus many loved ones and friends.
