He was born July 9, 1937 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and came to the area in 1969 from California. He was a United States Army veteran and a nuclear medicine ultrasound technologist. He was a member of the Christian Life Assembly of God Church and he loved sailing, travel and sightseeing in his motorhome.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Sandra Kay Norris; son: Timothy Rybinski of Florida; daughters: Yvonne Norris Thompson of California, Sonda McMoneagle and Wanda Miller, both of Florida; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
