BRANUM, Jr., William R., age 76 of Spring Hill died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at HPH Hospice House in Brooksville. He came to this area 8 years ago from his native Detroit, MI. He was an electrician for Ford Motor Co., a US Army Veteran, member of the BPOE Elks Lodge in Livonia, MI and Aripeka, FL, attended the Henry Ford Trade School where he was in the last class and served on the board and was past president of Pine Lake Village in Timber Pines. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife: Fern; son: James J. (Pegi) Branum of Brownstown, MI; daughter: Janis J. (Aleck) Holcomb of Leesburg, VA; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A Celebration of Life will be held 3pm Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice House.
