PADEN, William Ervin, age 80 of Silverthorn, Brooksville, Florida died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. Born in Hagerstown, Maryland he came here 8 years ago from Boca Raton, Florida. He was President of Sudbury News Service, Ltd., Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, where he held co-residency. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and he enjoyed playing golf and spending time with their many friends in Silverthorn.Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Lise; Son: William E. Paden, Jr. of Sudbury, Ontario; 4 Daughters: Pamela Hard of Potomac, Maryland, Deborah Levy of Dallas, Texas, Katherine Murrell of Gotha, Florida and Melissa Varvouletos of Chicago, Illinois; Sister: Frances Jenkins of Silver Spring, Maryland; 12 Grandchildren.Memorial services will be conducted 11:00am, Wed., Feb. 21, 2007 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill, Florida with Chaplain Dr. Chuck Merkle officiating.
