Alice Joan Dawson Depratter

Mrs. Depratter was born in Gas City, Indiana on April 7, 1928 to the late William Paul and Faye Oliver Dawson. She had been a resident of Brunswick since 1976. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and very active in the works of the Church. She was a housewife.

Mrs. Depratter was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James F. Depratter, Jr. and two brother and three sisters.

Survivors are a daughter, Tina Louise Langley of Fernandina Beach, Fl., and two sons, James Franklin Depratter, III of Brunswick and Paul Kevin Depratter of Hudson, Wisconsin, two sisters, Carolina Simmons of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Helen Ivey of Jesup, Ga., three grandchildren, Matthew Depratter, Rachel Warren and Brandie Stewart, great grandchildren, Emily Warren and Jacob Stewart and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday 3/9/17 in the Church of God of Prophecy with Bishop Dr. Keith Burch officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be: Jim Depratter, Kevin Depratter, Josh Stewart, Tony Langley, Matthew Depratter and Barney Harper.

The family will have visitation from 11 till 12 Thursday at the Church and request il lieu of flowers contributions to the Church of God of Prophecy, 370 Old Jesup Rd, Brunswick, Georgia 31520.
