Anthony Kale Stephens

Anthony “Kale” Stephens, 19, of Brunswick, departed this life Monday, June 12, 2023 in Glynn County. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Blythe Island Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Brown and Dave Spence officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Boatright, Konner Cargile, Jacob Fort, Evan Fort, Gavin Gibbs, Chase Jacobs, TJ Hill, Nolen Harper, Preston Lawrence, Zach Onufer, and Hayden Strehle.

Born on May 13, 2004 in Brunswick, Georgia to Tony and Shelia Stephens, he was a 2023 graduate of Glynn Academy. Mr. Stephens was employed with Adams Construction and was a member of Blythe Island Baptist Church. He enjoyed mud bogging on his four wheeler, riding dirt roads in his truck, fishing, hunting, boating, courting the ladies, and was a proud Republican. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Sam Stephens.

Survivors include his parents, Tony and Shelia Stephens, a brother, Kyle Stephens, a sister Jordan Caverzasi and husband Taylor, two nephews, Briggs and Jay Caverzasi all of Brunswick, maternal grandparents, Clara and Jesse Watts of Darien, Roy and Shannon Watson of Brunswick, paternal grandparents, Claudia and Sam Haraway of Brunswick, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
