Arthur Jess Alvarado

Arthur Jess Alvarado, 68, of Townsend, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his residence. He was a native of McIntosh County and had been a resident of Townsend, GA for the past 27 years.

Arthur is preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Grageda Lopez; Father, Jess Alvarado;

Sister, Rebecca Jacobelly; Sister, Jeanette Alvarado; and Son, Ruben Alvarado. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryle Alvarado, of Darien Georgia; Sisters, Yvette Grageda of San Pedro, CA and Catherine Carol Alvarado of CA; three sons, Louie Alvarado of CA, Gabriel Cusumano of St. Simons Island, and Daniel Cusumano of Daytona Beach, FL. He had eight Grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren, and 9 Nieces and Nephews.

Arthur was a huge family man. He loved and adored his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren every chance he got. He was a great friend to anyone who knew him. He absolutely loved the outdoors. Arthur really enjoyed his job working for the Gores family of McIntosh. He took great pride in working for them.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
