She was born in Franklin, N.C. on October 3, 1930. She lived in Brunswick for 58 years. She is survived by a sister, Marge Moss; her children, Marilyn James, Elizabeth Favero (Tony), Elaine Leggett (Buddy), Melinda Dills, and John C. Dills, Jr. (Adrienne) and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dills was a homemaker and later, retired after 30 years as a Glynn County School Bus Driver. She was of the Baptist faith. She leaves many friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Her memorial service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Brunswick, Georgia with Pastor Phil Harrington and Pastor Jim Wigton officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Golden Isles or a charity of your choice.
