

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, November 30, 1948, he was the son of Charles Gifford Viall Sr. and
Ellen Cundy Viall Davol both deceased, of Providence, Rhode Island.
A United States Coast Guard Vietnam era Veteran, he served on the newly commissioned 378’ USCG Cutter Gallatin. His favorite duty station was Fishers Island NY, where he was the unofficial station cook organizing clam bakes on the beach and serving up fresh lobsters to the stations sailors.
Returning to civilian life, he held many different positions in the wholesale and retail pet industry. As a Zodiac regional salesman he won exciting trips to China and Rome.
Retiring in 2013 he moved to St. Simons Island. In retirement he enjoyed cooking for family events and working at Ace Hardware on SSI. A lifelong Red Sox fan, Parrothead, and dog lover he will always be remembered as a helpful friend and best buddy to all.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Victoria Long Viall and daughters Christine Viall Orecchio (Mike), Kayla Marie Viall, and grandchildren, Danielle, Chrystoph and Andrew Orecchio of San Antonio, Texas. In addition a brother Alan G. Viall and sister Elizabeth G. Dyer.
