

Chloe Olive Hofrichter Racca, 80, of Brunswick, GA passed away Monday, 14th of January 2013 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses; 4821 Altama Ave. Brunswick, GA at 1 PM Saturday 19th of January 2013, with Elder James Muchison officiating.
Mrs. Racca was born in New Haven CT. on the 25th of August 1932, to the late Victor Hofrichter and the late Caroline Hitchcock Hofrichter. In 1999, she moved to St. Simons Island, GA from Weston, MA where she had lived since 1973. She was a graduate of Commercial High School in New Haven, CT and a 1999 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, where she received her B.S. Degree in Gerontology. Mrs. Racca was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Racca was a very active bible educator dedicated to her faith from which she brought God into many people’s lives. She was very hospitable and always caring for other people. She was a very loving caring wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Romulus Racca; four daughters Cynthia and husband Daniel Smith, Beverly and husband Brion Trainor, Katherine and husband Thomas Rao, and Sylvia Racca; three sisters Nancy and husband Jarvis Crook, Dorothy and husband Robert Wright, and Carol Cvevas; five grandchildren Michelle Stewart, Daria Gile, Dustin Smith, Christopher Rao and Brittany Rao; and three great grandchildren Chloe, Amelia, and LIly Stewart.
Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31520.
