Chris, a native of St. Simons Island GA, was born December 22, 1989, the day it snowed 6 inches in Glynn County. Although he left us way too soon, he lived a life full of family, friends, adventures, and service. He was a man who was always there to help a stranger or a friend with an infectious smile and love in his heart. He loved to climb, hike, disk golf, kayak and drive off road. He was a daredevil, an adventurer, had a fearless carefree spirit and an infectious laugh. Always the jokester, loved to play pranks and jump out to scare people, especially his mom. Chris was a natural at just about every sport he tried from early on. He played Glynn County Recreation football, baseball, and soccer. He enjoyed golfing with his dad and usually won. He loved rainy days because it meant he and his friends could go mudbogging and more often than not, got stuck. He was an avid kayaker, played disc golf, and even played on the Glynn County, championship winning kickball team 2021. During his high school years, he was introduced to the world of jet skiing. He and his dad raced the Hot Water Tour racing circuit for three years where he won the Junior Division Championship. Whether on the water or on the road, Chris loved to go fast with the wind in his face. After purchasing a motorcycle, in 2020, he joined the Red Knights Motorcycle Club-GA Chapter 20.
Chris followed in his father’s footsteps graduating from the Georgia Fire Academy in 2018, while working for the Glynn County Fire Department. He continued his life of service as a first responder/EMT with Golden Isles EMS, in Brunswick, GA. Most of all, he loved and adored his partner Brittany, his boys, Dawson and Carter and Brittany’s children Avery and Braxton. They were his world. If you were lucky enough to be present when he gazed into his children’s faces, the pure joy radiating from him would blind you.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy and Lucy Wall of Eulonia GA and Robert and Betty Powell of Atlanta GA. He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Betsy Wall of St. Simons Island, GA; his partner, Brittany Spaulding of Brunswick, GA; his sons Dawson Tanner Wall and Carter Micheal Wall; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other extended family, and beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec 17, at 2 pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 3 pm at Edo Miller & Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick GA. A Committal Service follows at Oglethorpe Memorial Park Cemetery on St. Simons Island.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Coastal GA, The GCFD Volunteer Fire Dept, or the Red Knights MC-GA Chapter 20.
