Dale Raymond Bailey

A celebration of life gathering will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5pm until 6pm at The Chapel, 114 Harris Farm Rd, Brunswick, GA.

Born May 30, 1936 in Dover, Ohio to the late John and Edna Ruth S. Bailey, he was a graduate of New Philadelphia, Ohio High School. A resident of St. Simons Island since 1981, Mr. Bailey was of the Nazarene Faith, and was a former member of the Nazarene Church in Brunswick, where he served as Music Director, Choir Director, and Sunday School Teacher. He worked as a sales manager for West Coastal Chevrolet – Oldsmobile. Mr. Bailey was an avid automobile enthusiast and enjoyed listening to gospel music.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Anna May J. Bailey, a son, Bradley Stewart Bailey, a brother Jack Bailey, and two sisters, Betty Haugh and Bonnie Youngen.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Dale Bailey of St. Simons Island, a brother, Paul Bailey and wife Emily of, Carrolton, OH, two sisters Linda Hockenbary and husband Dennis of Strasburg, OH, and Joanne Robinson of Euless, TX, several nieces and nephews.
