Derrick Donovan Miller

Derrick was a 2005 graduate of Brunswick High. He was a movie buff who enjoyed swimming and working out when he could. He will be remembered as a sweet kid who had a heart of gold! He worked hard to please others and wanted to see everyone around him happy. Despite battling one illness after another, he walked through life brave and strong, always having a positive attitude and warm smile.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Ann Bunkley; paternal grandfather, Charles P. Miller and an uncle, Gary L. Miller.

Derrick is survived by his parents, Randall and Vickie Bunkley Miller; a maternal grandmother he loving called “Jelly Bean”, Wilma Jean Miller; maternal grandfather, “Papa” Marion Bunkley; an aunt, Kellie Cochran (Mike); an uncle, Richard Bunkley (Susan); four cousins, Breanna Anderson (Tim), Brittany Bunkley, Pamela Dubberly and Ricky Bunkley and a second cousin, Maxwell Anderson. Derrick also leaves behind his beloved furbabies, Timmy and Chloe.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 5:00 pm in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
