Mr. Coles was a native of Vallejo, CA. He was the son of the late Walter Crosby and Ruby Coles. He was retired from the United States Navy. Donald honorably received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Award. Mr. Coles was honorably discharged on May 4, 1961. However due to his loyalty to his country, he reenlisted in the United States Navy for six more years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kelly Annette Coles; a twin sister, Lois Hellbach. Mr. Coles is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Chester; four sons, Gary Coles, Donald Coles, David Coles, and Edward Sean Coles; six grand-children, Haley Coles, Sean Chester, Kristal Giroux, Garrett Coles, and Jacob Coles. Mr. Coles is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Pixie Hudson and Jayden Lucas.
Mr. Coles will be sadly missed by all of his love ones. However, he will be with each one of them to live on forever.
