He was born Jan. 10, 1953 to the late Marie and Sam Cofer, affectionately known as “Ma” and “PA” and is survived by his wife Brenda, daughter Tiffany; brother in law Darrell Williams; sister Trisha Barefoot; aunts Edith Cofer Parker and Patti Cofer Thompson and husband Jim; and a large loving family.
Donnie loved life and enjoyed island living. As an island Native, he had many stories to tell.
A private memorial will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia or the Glynn County Animal Shelter.
