Donald Kenneth Mason

The family will receive friends Monday, August 11, 2014 from 6-8Pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 11AM with Rev. Joey Chancey officiating.

Don was born on September 22, 1945 in Macon, Georgia to the late Lewis Mason and Gladys Goss. He was a high school graduate of Glynn Academy, class of 1963. He had lived in Brunswick since 1951, being employed by Georgia Power, Glynn County Police and Epworth by the Sea. Mr. Mason was also a master plumber and electrician. Don also attended Way of the Cross Baptist Church. He loved flying and was a charter pilot.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Dennis and Warren Mason and one sister: Feral Lundy Young.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years: Linda Mason; two sons: Donald Ken Mason II (Jo) of Atlanta; Randy Lewis Mason (Michelle) of Brunswick and step son: Allen Stephens (Beth) of Jesup; three step daughters: Brenda Morales (Miguel) of Brunswick; Kelly Carter (Edward) of Brunswick and Rose Douglas of Brunswick; one brother: Lewis Mason (Betty) of St. Simons Island and one sister: Norma Gill (Robert) of Lizella, GA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
