A visitation will be held at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, GA on Wednesday December 16 from 5-8pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at St Simons Island Presbyterian Church Thursday December 17 at 11am with the Rev. Bob Brearley and Rev. John Law Officiating.
Interment at Christ Church, Frederica will be private.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin R. and Emwynn Neal Fendig, and his brother H. Neal Fendig.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bruce Fendig; three children, Lucy Wynn Fendig, Edwin R. Fendig III (Deborah) and Bruce B. Fendig (Teri) with two grandchildren, Claire & Jack Fendig.
Mr. Fendig’s family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525 or the International Seafarers Center, 307 Newcastle Street, Brunswick, GA 31520 or The Boy Scouts of America, Okefenokee Council, 302 Screven Street, Waycross, GA 31501.
