Faye was Born February 25, 1949 in Jesup, Georgia to the late Roy Carr Coker and Bertie Lou L. Young. Faye grew up and attended school in Nahunta, Georgia. In 1965, after marrying Pete, they would move to Illinois where Faye went back to school to earn a degree from Richland College in Decatur, Illinois. Faye loved to watch football and was a dedicated Chicago Bears fan. She loved every Sunday afternoon that she could spend with the family as they would gather to watch the Bears play. Faye was a beautiful person inside and out and her heart belonged to her family and friends. To her grandchildren, she was a Nana like no other, spending every minute possible with her family, especially cheering them all on at the ball fields every chance she could, passing down family recipes and being there at the drop of a hat no matter the matter or hour. She will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known such a remarkable soul.
