Gail Pearson

Gail Pearson was a life-long native of Brunswick, Ga., born July 9, 1944, to the late Joseph Linton Cox, Sr. and the late Lena Bethume Cox. Her passion was her love for teaching and the years she spent at Brunswick Christian Academy. She was a dedicated teacher and loved the fact that she was able to help her students achieve and grow as well as being devoted to her family and friends. Her life solely revolved around her husband, her children and her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Joseph L. Cox, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of Stanley Eric Pearson of Brunswick, GA; her two sons, Kevin (Linda) Cox, Scott (Lynn) Pearson, one daughter, Karen (Bernie) Hurt and two granddaughters, Michelle Underwood and Jamie Pearson of Brunswick Georgia

Pallbearers are Bernard Diggs, Rudy Underwood, John Williams, Trey Hurt, Chris Hurt, and Brad Smith

Visitation will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Preston Bryan officiating. Burial will follow at Palmetto Cemetery.

Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway Brunswick, GA 31525
