

Glynn Duchesney Sr. of Brunswick, GA, formerly of Jacksonville Fl., 66, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick campus. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 11AM on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 with Reverend Larry Lane officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6-8pm at Edo Miller & Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, Georgia.
Glynn was born August 28, 1946 to Charles A. and Nathalia L. Duchesney in Jacksonville, Fl. He attended Glynn Academy and played trumpet in the marching band. He was a loyal Georgia Bulldog fan. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for many years. Glynn was involved in many outreach ministries, such as preaching in the Florida prison system and at the Jacksonville City Rescue Mission’s New Life Inn. He enjoyed classic cars, auctions ,antiques, and singing to the music of the 60's.
Glynn is preceded in death by his mother: Nathalia Lean Head and his brother: Richard Poppell.
He is survived by his fiancé Darlene Wolfe and children, his children, Jennifer Duchesney, Deanna Duchesney, and Glynn Duchesney Jr., His grandchildren: Austin and Ashley Abby and Lindsay and Amber Knoff. His sisters: Nancy Poppell and Tish Garza and family, His brother: Robert Poppell and family, and sister in law: Sherita Poppell and family, as well as many other friends and relatives. He will be missed by his little companion, Fritz.
