

Gregory Charles Horn, 50, of Kingsland, Georgia died Tuesday Sept. 17, 2013 at Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick Campus. Born May 9, 1963 in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son of The Honorable Richard H. Horn and Sally A. (Dunnick) Horn. After graduating from Oak Hill Academy, he earned a B.S. in History from Western Carolina University in 1987, and a B.A. in Education from Glenville State College in 1988. While at Western Carolina, he was a member of the school’s ski team and of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was also active in student government, earning Outstanding Senator of the Year recognition in his senior year. Most of his professional career was spent teaching Social Studies to middle school students in Camden County, Georgia. He enjoyed downhill skiing, and was an avid boater and fisherman. In addition to his mother, Horn is survived by his sister, Tina M. (Horn) Moylan of York, and his nephew, Hunter R. Moylan of Salt Lake City, UT. He was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Richard H. “Roby” Horn, Jr. Arrangements have been entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium in Brunswick, GA.
