Jacob Scott Bolin

Jacob Scott Bolin, age 18, of Townsend, died Monday, January 5, 2015. Jacob was a graduate of Brunswick Christian Academy where he played on the basketball team that won the 2014 Championship for the Southeastern Christian Conference. He enjoyed playing video games, collecting action figures, hunting and fishing. He was a member of Bethel Church.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Michelle Roberson Bolin of Townsend; two sisters, Rachel Bolin Golden (Charlie) of Townsend and Amanda Bolin Pruett of Darien; paternal grandparents, Richard William Bolin, Sr. of Cox and Patsy Scott Ingram (Sid) of Sterling; maternal grandparents, Donny Roberson, Sr. (Linda) of Darien and Janice Johnson Hoggard (Paul George) of Townsend; maternal great-grandmother, Inez Amerson Johnson of Townsend; maternal step great-grandfather, Paul Hoggard of Brunswick; two aunts, Tina Bolin Jones (Mike) of Jesup and Tracy Roberson Brooks of Townsend; two uncles, William Eugene Bolin, Sr. of Cox and Donny Roberson, II (Casey) of Darien; a niece, Anna Mae Golden of Townsend and several cousins, great aunts and great uncles.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday at Darien Church of God with Dr. Kevin Drury and Reverend Tommy Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Matthew Steven Robuck, Jacob Bartley Wright, Joshua Matthew Blair, Trey Daniel Wright, Trent Wages Wright, Michael Joe Gomez, Alan Henry (Hank) Schomber, Jr., Tyler Jay Griner and Joshua Douglas Roberson. Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas Charles Roberson, Christopher John Gomez, Anthony Robert Gomez, Steven Daniel O'berry, Alan (Al) Henry Schomber, Sr., Steven Charles Robuck, Jay Bartley Wright, Steven Mark Dotson and Philip Jay Griner.
