Born March 6, 1940 in Athens, Ohio to the late Edward E. and Doris M. Mitchell, he was a Purple Heart Recipient and retired US Navy Veteran. Mr. Mitchell became a real estate closing agent after his military service and retired from Charter Title. He was an avid golfer and worked in The Pro Shop at The Brunswick Country Club. He had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 13 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by twin daughter and son, Britton and Brent, a step son, Michael Row, and a brother, William Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Linda Kay Mitchell of Brunswick, a son, Randol Clark Mitchell of Newark, OH, a step daughter, Lisa Row-Taylor, of Centerburg, OH, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
