Jeffrey B. Pennington

Jeff B. Pennington, 36, of Brunswick, died Saturday August 22, 2009 in Glynn County, at his work place. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 28, 2009 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Joe Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with Garrett Hogue, Stephen Hickson, Pete Staats, Adam Yoak, Billy Johnson and Buddy Thompson serving as pallbearers. Pizza Hut management and staff will serve as honorary pallbearers.Born April 13, 1973 in Brunswick, Georgia to Arthur Emmitt and Sandra Georgette Hooks Pennington, he was a manager with Pizza Hut on Chapel Crossing in Brunswick. Jeff was a 1991 Graduate of Brunswick High and attended Golden Isles Christian Church. He was a volunteer firefighter in his younger years, worked for Wells Produce before going to work for Rich Sea Pak where he worked for 5 years before going into retail management with Circle K, Rent Way, Lowes, Sears and Dollar General. He had been with Pizza Hut for the past 7 months. Jeff was a loving husband and father, an avid football fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and NASCAR Racing. Jeff touched many people’s lives and hearts and will be sadly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Emmitt Pennington. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 8 ½ years, Angela Pennington of Brunswick, sons, Austin Pennington, Adam Miller, Aaron Miller and a daughter, Danielle Bigford all of Brunswick, mother, Sandra Pennington of Brunswick, brothers, John Pennington of Brunswick, Gary Pennington of Atlanta, Jimmy Pennington of Savannah, Bobby Pennington of Ft. Campbell, KY and Steve Pennington of Jacksonville, FL, a sister, Nancy Tuya of Brunswick, two granddaughters Linnea Miller and Sophie Miller both of Brunswick, several nieces and nephews, and several aunts and uncles.The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
