John Grant Grantham Wolfe

Mr. Wolfe was a native of Montgomery Count y, Georgia and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1989. He was a former resident of Jacksonville for 30 years moving to Toombs County then to Brunswick. He was retired from the JEA in Jacksonville, Fl. He was a member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church in Brunswick.

Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death in December of the wife of 28 years, Mary Ellen Carter Wolfe.

Survivors are three daughters, Pam Messina (Phil) of Davenport, FL., Nancy Higginbotham of Jacksonville, FL. and Myrtice Womble (Eddie) of Florahome, FL., two sisters, Nan Rowland of Decatur, Ga., and Valeria Lewis of Baxley, Ga., two brothers in friendship, Alfred Crosby and Carl Barnhardt.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday 1/21/12 in the Emanuel United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Barnhardt officiating. Interment will follow in Churchyard.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7 PM Friday night.
