Julee Blanton Miller Olsen

Julee was a native and lifelong resident of Brunswick and a graduate of Glynn Academy, Class of 1960 and was a majorette and Drum Major for the Glynn Academy Band. She was a former member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick.

Julee is preceded in death by her parents, Blanton and Rene Hopkins Miller and a sister, Myrtle Williams.

Survivors are her husband of 51 years, Jimmy Olsen, two daughter, Dana Lanier and Debbie Sapp(Mark), three grandchildren, Brittany Lanier, Dylan Sapp and Brody Sapp all of Brunswick, two nieces, Cathy Mabry and Karen Hutson Fey both of North Carolina, and several cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday 6/3/15 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Akridge officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: Tony Vercillo, Bobby Bean, Jimmy Rogers, Frankie Taylor, Brian O’Neal, Randy Mabry, Lonnie Bean, Rusty Mosher, and Tony Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be: Southern Tide Baseball Team.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday 6/2/15 and request contributions to the Hospice of the Golden Isles.
