Kelly Lynn Farris

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Born July 3, 1972, in Brunswick, GA, to Joe Harold Farris and Johnette Patricia Mobley Gornto. She was a life -long resident of Glynn County, and a 1990 graduate of Brunswick High School. Kelly was employed as a waitress at Mud Cat Charlie’s and Spanky’s Marhside for many years. She was of the Baptist faith, attending the Chapel in Brunswick. Kelly is a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had many past times her favorite was writing. She leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.

She is preceded in death by her step-father John Michael Gornto, her brother Joseph Shane Farris, and her maternal grandparents.

She is survived by her mother Johnette Patricia Gornto; father Joe Harold Farris; her children Kelcee Danyel Holiday Hope and Jonathan Shane Presley Farris, aka “Bubba”; Kelcee”s grandmother Anne Hope; all of Brunswick, GA; and many other family members and friends.
