Ms. Kimberly Ann Carey, 48, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away, Monday, February 2, 2015 at her residence. Kim was a loving, kind, and compassionate daughter who especially loved children and animals and found a great deal of pleasure caring for her rescued dog, Rex. Her kindness and altruistic spirit shined throughout her brief life. Kim and her partner, Edward McNutt, loved to visit and explore all of the natural wonders of Jekyll and Saint Simons Island. They attended the College Place United Methodist Church where they had many friends. Her favorite hobbies were walking her dog Rex, knitting, singing and socializing with her friends. Kim was a loving friend, partner, daughter, sister, and aunt.
Kim is survived by her parents, JoAnna and Martin Carey, her brother, Carl Carey, sister-in-law, Maria-Paula Borras Patino and her nephew, Lucas Carey.
A memorial service will be held for Kim at College Place United Methodist Church, 3890 Altama Ave. Brunswick, Ga. on, Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Rob Grotheer officiating.
