Larry Wayne Clark

Larry W. Clark, of Thalmann, Georgia passed away Tuesday evening, the 27th of June 2017 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL., at the age 70. Larry is a lifelong native of Brunswick, GA, born the 3rd of May 1947, to the late Everett Clark and the late Ethel Clark. He is a graduate of Glynn Academy, and a member of the Ocean Lodge #214 in Brunswick, and the Alee Shrine Temple in Savannah. Larry retired with 40 years of service with Georgia Pacific Pulp and Paper Mill, as an mill wright. He is also a member of Glynn Baptist Church in Thalmann. He leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Sherri Clark of Brunswick; two sons Joshua Clark (Victoria) Hazelhurst, GA, and Robert Clark (Taylor) Bloomsburg PA; grandson Bryce Clark of Brunswick GA; bothers Everett Clark Jr, Peanut Clark, Don Clark: sisters Annette Nelson, Eleanor Jewell, Carol Itrich, Denise Gamble; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from Six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Friday, the 30th of June 2017 in the Brunswick Room of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave., in Brunswick.

A funeral service is to be conducted on Saturday, the 1st of July 2017, at two o’ clock in the afternoon in the chapel at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home,3321 Glynn Ave., Brunswick where Reverend Wayne Williamson to officiate. Burial will follow the service with funeral cortege to Palmetto Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to a reception following the committal service at Glynn Baptist Church in Thalmann.
