Lila Crooms

.Lila Crooms, 89, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home at 11 AM with Rev. Jack Pickern and Tim Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Palmetto Cemetery.

Lila was born March 20, 1923 to the late Hardy and Laura Cross in Helena, Georgia. She was a member of Light House Baptist Church. Lila loved to fish, camp and shop and her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband: James "Lucky" Crooms and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by four children: Linda Varner (Nolan), Grace Fabre (Ron), Dale Crooms (Tammy) and Mitchell Crooms (Wanda) all of Brunswick; nine grandchildren: Renee Fokken, Kristin Fabre, Nichole Lockhart, Amanda Tucker, Kelly Scott, Jason Crooms, Matthew Crooms, Daniel Crooms and Lauren Geiger; twelve great grandchildren: Haylee Lockhart, Connor Tucker, Maddox Tucker, Landon Lockhart, Braiden Lockhart, Chloe Geiger, Anthony Crooms, Kyle Crooms, Alyssa Scott, Zachary Scott, Lindsay Crooms and Alex Fokken. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
