

Linda Faye Brown, 74, of Townsend, Georgia, a professional recording Christian music artist, peacefully entered into Heaven’s Gates on Monday, February 28, 2022 and now is singing praises in Heaven’s Choir.
Linda was born in Augusta, Georgia the daughter of the late Robert A Willis and the late Emma Louise Kelly. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, Harry Allen Sprouse; a brother, Charles E. Willis Sr.; one sister, Maxine Whisnant.
Linda has resided in McIntosh County for the past 25 years and was an active member at Cowboy Church where she was a co-founder. She was the past Vice President of Cornerstone Ministries and taught at the Christian school for 10 years. She was a lady that had a strong faith with a passion for witnessing to others. She was a devoted pastor’s wife for 49 years. She was also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda, Nana as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, placed her Lord first and her family second. In her spare time she loved to travel and arrange flowers. She will greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Linda’s many memories are her husband, William “Bill” Brown; two daughters, Missy Fredrick (Chris) and Jenny Turner (Kevin); a son, Robbie A Sprouse (Vickie); nine grandchildren, Jeremy Turner, Allen Fredrick, Andrew Sprouse, Aaron Turner, Brandon Turner Matthew Fredrick, Owen Sprouse, Colt Sprouse, and Brandt Epps; two sisters, Ann Rosier and Janice Evans. Eleven great grandchildren, one precious great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends between 1 – 2 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral home. The funeral service to celebrate a life well lived will begin at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Mullis officiating. The burial will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Augusta, GA. Her grandsons will be the active pallbearers.
