

Linda Wilson Pello, 64, of Brunswick passed away on Friday February 8th at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Harris officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews: Shaun Wilson, Chris Wilson, Ben Wilson, Dusty Wilson, Ricky Kersey, Cole Morris, Josh Pello, Shawn Pello, Dalton Usher, Patrick Shirah. The Brunswick High School Football Team and Coaching Staff will also serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Mrs. Pello was born in Woodbine, GA on May 28, 1948. A native of White Oak, she attended Camden County High School and retired from Marine Port Terminals. First and foremost, she was a dedicated mother and Mema. Mrs. Pello was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and Camden County. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved watching her grandson play baseball and traveled to Cooperstown, New York in this pursuit. Her granddaughters danced, cheered, and succeeded in school beyond her expectations and she followed them by attending recitals, awards and sporting events, faithfully. She loved her community and was a member of the Brunswick High Football Quarterback’s Club.
Mrs. Pello is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Mattie Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Pat Pello of Brunswick; two sons, Mark Knowles and wife Cindy of Decatur and Jamie Knowles and wife Chastity of Brunswick; a daughter Pam Mixon and husband Tim of Waverly; a sister Patricia Ann Kersey; four brothers, Leon Wilson, Michael Wilson and wife Catherine, Joey Wilson and wife Kathy, and Ted Wilson and wife Sherry; mother-in-law Bessie Pello; sister-in-law Eva Pello; three brother-in-laws Danny Pello and wife Darla, Jimmy Pello, and Stevie Pello; and, most importantly four grandchildren Kathleen Knowles, John Andrew Knowles, Holly Mixon, and Ashley Knowles. She had many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Everyone that met her loved her.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Brunswick High Pirates Football Team, in care of Coach Victor Floyd.
