Marva J. Clements

Marva B. Clements, 76, of Brunswick, departed this life and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at SGHS Glynn. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Hurst and Bro. Michael Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at 3PM in Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Zachary Cain, Paul Sweeney, Gary Fields, Robert Haase, Billy Brooks, and Edward Carter.

Born December 2, 1940 in Tift County, Georgia to the late James Marvin and Myrtle C. Branch, she was a former LPN working at Tift General Hospital and retired from Winn Dixie Bakery on St. Simons Island. She had been a resident of Glynn County since 1968. She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and taught Sunday School Class there for 35 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Clements was an avid reader and also enjoyed gardening. She enjoyed many hobbies with her husband. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Branch.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Hines Clements, two daughters, Jan Clements Smith and Belinda McNair and husband Andrew, all of Brunswick, two grandchildren, Terry Smith and wife( Sommer) and Alex McNair, two great grandchildren, Alexis and Baylee, siblings, Shery-Ann Hendrix, Michael Cox, and Sandra Rabitsch, And several nieces and nephews.
