Murf was born on September 2, 1946 in Syracuse, New York. She attended The Pebble Hill School and Foxhollow School in Lenox, MA. Murf was preceded in death by her husband Max Lockett of St. Simons Island. She is survived by her brothers, George Rodormer of Light House Point, FL, Rob Rodormer of Skaneateles, NY, and a sister Sunny Kaiser of Yarmouth, ME, and eight nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Cottage 58 on 13th Street, Sea Island, GA, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM, and a celebration of life will be held on October 8th at the Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles, NY from 4:00PM until 6:00PM
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, 4267 N. Highway 17, Brunswick, GA., or charity of your choice.
