Mary Serra Santos

Mary Serra Santos, 95, of Brunswick, departed this life, Monday, November 13, 2017 at SGHS Glynn. Funeral mass will be conducted at 11Am Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Tim McKeown officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Chuck Hart, Bobby Hart, Johnathan Hart, Timmy Hart, Raymond Daniels, Kim Daniels, Christopher Daniels, Kevin Kusler, Joshua Barnes and Logan Cadle serving as pallbearers. Knights of Columbus will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Born February 21, 1922 in Fernandina Beach, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Manuel A. Serra and Margaret Santos August, she had been a resident of Glynn County since 1922. Mrs. Santos attended Glynn Academy, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel I. Santos, as well as a brother.

Survivors include her daughters Diana M. Schulz and husband Raymond of Middleburg, FL, Mary S. Beckum of Brunswick, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:15 AM until the funeral mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.edomillerandsons.com
