Melba Jean Anderson

Funeral service will held 11 AM Monday July 2, 2012 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Lamb officiating. Interment will follow the service in Chapel Park Cemetery. Serving pallbearers will be Wesley Googe, Wynn Gale, Darrell Gale, Allen Stewart, Wendell Herndon, and Clarke Wiggins.

Family will receive friends Sunday July 1, 2012 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Edo miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Anderson was born October 18, 1938 in Wayne County to the late Calvin Gurtis Beverly and the late Addie Pearl Rogers Beverly. She had lived most of her life in Glynn County, and was the office manager of J & M Towing.

Mrs. Anderson enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and riding her golf cart, and spending time with her children, and grandchildren which she loved very dearly. She was also an avid pet lover and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Curtis Anderson.

Survivors include her children Sarah Noel and husband Jimmie,Johnny Googe and wife Geneva, Calvin Googe, and Jeff Emory and Kacey all of Brunswick, GA , four grandchildren Wynn, Darrell, Nora, and Wesley, her brother Charles Beverly and wife Janet , her sister Molly Buchans, and many other relatives and friends.
